《識骨尋蹤》是美國霍士廣播公司（FOX）2005年推出的罪案題材的電視連續劇。該劇部分內容改編自前刑偵檢驗官、現任該劇制作人凱絲·萊克斯出版的一系列偵探小說。在香港，本劇2008年4月9日起在無線電視明珠臺播放，並把節目名稱定為《欲骨查》。其粵語諧音是一種廣為香港人所知的東南亞食品“肉骨茶”。

    Bones的創作靈感來源於法庭人類學家和長篇小說家Kathy Reichs的真實生活。主人公Brennan博士是一名法庭人類學家，為傑斐遜協會工作，並以寫作小說為副業，因有著特殊的才能，能根據受害者的屍骨找到常人難以發現的線索。而被法院強制她協助警方偵破那些因屍體嚴重腐爛、燒毀或被破壞而使得普通的屍檢方法無能為力的兇殺案件。
   Brennnan在傑斐遜協會法醫學實驗室有著同樣出色的才華的同事們，包括：喜歡泡帥哥的Angela Montenegro，她能用三維圖象模擬再現原始犯罪現場，有一個很酷的老爹。Brennan的助手Zack Addy，他的智商高得嚇人，但是EQ與其成正反比。。。可愛的吉祥物。Jack Hodgins是昆蟲、孢子和礦石方面的專家，同時拿下了3個Phd頭銜，是一個陰謀論者。還有Brennan的老板，實驗室主任Camille Saroyan博士。
 
    Brennan經常與特別探員Seeley Booth打交道，Booth曾是一名軍隊的狙擊手，在破案時對科學和科學家並不信任。Brennan和Booth在工作和生活中經常發生摩擦，但戲劇性的是，不是冤家不碰頭，兩人之間最後竟奇妙地擦出了火花。
 
    在驕傲背後Brennan有著一段不同尋常的家庭慘劇。母親被人謀殺，父親離奇失蹤，這些回憶如夢魘般纏繞了她15年。她終於追蹤到了兇案背後的蛛絲馬跡，在Booth的幫助下Brennan將拼盡全力找尋那個令她痛苦一生的真兇。

劇情簡介
 Brennan的父親因為謀殺FBI副局長被指控並在法庭受審。通過Brennan的證詞和審判策略，Brennan幫助她的父親開釋。由於她的搭檔，特工Seeley Booth之前逮捕了她的父親Max Keenan，因此在這一季中，Brennan 和 Booth都被送往心理醫師Dr. Sweets處進行心理治療。
 
Brennan需要面臨Booth的“死亡”，但是後來Booth的出現說明他是出於需要“假死”，為了引出幕後的真正的兇手。Brennan很憤怒並毆打了Booth，她也試圖找出當時為何沒人提醒她Booth是假死而Jeffersonian斜眼小分隊的其他人都知道了，隨後她了解到她應該是被Dr. Sweets通知的，但是Sweets沒有告訴她以至於他可以通過這件事觀察Brennan面對Booth“死亡”時的舉動。
 
Brennan同樣也改變了領養孩子的初衷，取而代之的是自己生一個孩子，顯示出她富有同情心的一面。Brennan與Dr. Sweets的第一個女朋友April進行了一個奇怪的交談， April向Brennan尋求建議如何與Sweets維護穩定關系。因為April是27歲，而Sweets只有23，而且詢問Brennan與Booth是否因年齡差距而感到不適應(兩人相差5歲)，雖然Brennan對April說他們倆不是情侶，但是不確信April是否相信她。隨後Sweets與April戀情告終。Sweets很受打擊。
 
隨著這一季劇情的進行，Brennan和 Jeffersonian 的斜眼小分隊試圖抓住一個名叫Gormogon的食人魔連環殺手，這個連環殺手在這一季的最後一集招收Brennan的愛徒，同時也是斜眼小分隊當中一員天才Zack當作他的學徒，導致Zack在第三季結局炸傷自己的手並離開了Jeffersonian，因為Booth的調度，Zack從而進入瘋人院而不是入獄，食人魔Gormogon也最終被擊斃。

23 《識骨尋蹤》（Bones）第6季第23集是季終集。有人在一家保齡球館的自動滾球機裏發現了一具高度腐爛的屍體，受害人的樣貌已無法辨認。警方通過其他技術手段發現了受害人的真實身份－－他竟然與Brennan的父親Max Keenan同在一支保齡球隊。由於受傷病困擾，受害人最近已經不怎麼打球了。由於案件調查毫無進展，Booth和Brennan決定喬裝改扮混進這支競爭激烈的保齡球隊，伺機尋找線索。受害人的隊友們並沒有懷疑Booth和Brennan的身份，但Booth和Brennan遇到了新的麻煩－－嫌疑人實在太多，甚至包括一名心高氣傲的12歲保齡神童。與此同時，住進婦產醫院的Angela隨時可能臨盆，但仍然堅持通過網絡攝像頭幫助Brennan鑒定兇器。關於本集的其他消息：Angela和Hodgins的孩子終將誕生，但其過程會出現「小插曲」。標題《The Change in the Game》可能意味著Booth和Brennan關系的變化。
